Social Media Intern - Scrubs

Job Description

Calling all rising sophomore, junior, and senior undergraduate students! We are currently seeking a superstar Social Media Intern to join the Fabletics Scrubs team for Summer 2024.  

The Fabletics Scrubs Social Team is seeking an intern who is self-motivated and loves a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a passion for health and fitness. Our ideal candidate is someone who loves social media and is creative and thoughtful when interacting with online communities and building relationships. Applicants must be detail oriented, ambitious, proactive, and looking to gain first-hand experience in the fitness industry. 

What You’ll Do:  

• Work with the Social Media Team to brainstorm, create and schedule daily content across Fabletics Scrubs social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. 

• Assist social media team with weekly and monthly reporting. 

• Assist with content ideation, curation and execution across social platforms. 

• Assist with product gifting, interacting with influencers online & at events with an opportunity to attend photoshoots. 

• Community engagement (commenting, liking and engaging with the Fabletics Scrubs community on social channels). 

• Researching like-brands to partner with on social giveaways. 

• Monitor trends in social media, fashion, culture, and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to create viral content that will increase word of mouth, relevancy and brand loyalty with Fabletics fans.   

• Help with day-to-day operations including administrative duties. 

• Conduct on-going research projects on key industry trends and competitive insights. 

 

Who You Are: 

• Passionate and knowledgeable about fashion and social media 

• Strong content creator with experience making TikTok and Reels videos 

• Strong attention to detail 

• Organized with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments 

• Creative, driven, innovative and resourceful 

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Google Drive 

• Prior social media or corporate office experience is a plus

• This intern will gain hands-on experience making a fashion brand come to life to consumers through marketing campaigns and social media content published to our audience of 10.7m+ 

• The position will collaborate closely with the Creative, Marketing, Acquisition, and CRM teams 

• Interact with key internal partners to create social content, report on current social trends, and interact with the JustFab audience, while helping to attract and engage new ones 

• Assist in strategizing and brainstorming best-in-class and unique content for Fabletics Scrubs social accounts 

• Monitor TikTok and Instagram trends and help conceptualize, pitch, and create multiple pieces of content each week 

• Work with the social team to understand performance and growth metrics in order to adjust creative for optimizing posts 

• Learn to bring to life Fabletics Scrubs brand voice and positioning, acting as a consumer ambassador for the brand 

 

 

The Intern Gig: We are looking for enthusiastic students with ambition to go far. Our full-time paid internship program will give you a chance to gain in-depth knowledge of what it is like to be a part of our fast-paced and innovative company. Our interns have the unique opportunity to gain real work experience, while participating in skill-building workshops and interactive social activities throughout the duration of the internship assignment. 

  

Our summer internship program will be in our El Segundo, CA headquarters and will run for 10 weeks from June 10th-August 16th. We operate on a hybrid work schedule where employees must be willing and able to work in-office Tuesday-Thursday each week, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. We will not be considering remote or non-local applicants at this time. 

  

The hourly range for this position is $18.00-$22.00. The hourly rate offered will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise, and work location.
