We are currently seeking a Sr. Manager, Field Quality Assurance. This position requires an experienced professional with the ability to build, motivate, and lead a team of quality experts. He or she will be responsible for developing and deploying our campaign management system, technical and regulatory compliance activities, and will lead our ISO and TS certification activity. He or she will work cooperatively and cross-functionally with all areas of the Lucid team, especially the Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier, and Legal teams. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leading Field Quality Assurance, preferably with direct OEM experience. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

You Will
- Demonstrated success in the quality field.
- Lead the Campaign Management team.
- Develop, deploy, and manage Vital Issue Handling Process.
- Support and coordinate internal and external quality audits.
- Forge excellent cross-functional relationship between engineering, quality, and manufacturing promoting interdependence.
- Administer recall and service campaigns.
- Port modifications.
- Develop a plan to continuously improve the teams’ effectiveness.
- Monitor, report, and publish quality metrics, as well as presenting data and improvement planning to leadership/stakeholders.
- Recurrence prevention activities.
- Supplier charge-back for campaigns.
- Lead the Technical and Regulatory Compliance team.
- Defect reporting to NHTSA/EPA/ARB.
- TREAD reporting, including “Early Warning” and “Foreign Recall” requirements.
- Respond to regulatory authority inquiries.
- Ensure RCCA documents attached to recall cases are complete and contain robust and effective actions.
- Monitor regulatory and rating agency trends and changes.
- Lead the ISO 9001/TS16949, ISO 14001 Certification team.
- Travel up to 25%, occasionally on short notice.
You Bring
- 10+ years of applicable experience leading/building teams from beginning to end.
- 10+ years of applicable automotive quality experience.
- Recall and service campaigns.
- OEM experience required.
- Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities.
- Excellent analytical & technical writing abilities and comprehensive understanding of SPC, root cause analysis, GD&T, and control and inspection standards.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to build outstanding teams and interface well with senior management.
- MBA a plus.
