Your Day-to-Day
- Work directly with Client Partners to engage with clients, assess their needs and recommend solutions that fit the functional requirements of the client.
- Strategize with the business development teams by utilizing knowledge of retail technology stacks, product development methods and problem-solving to facilitate compelling solutions to retail and consumer industry challenges.
- Partner with Go To Market teams on our most strategic clients to uncover a customer’s current and future states and their goals, in order to map creative and compelling solutions.
- Support sales with activities such as technical discovery, demos, proposals, presentations and other customer facing artifacts; working across a number of opportunities in parallel.
- Collaborate with the various teams to respond to Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and Statement of Work (SOW) review and completion
- Draw from previous sales or sales support experience to bring technical knowledge and retail and consumer industry expertise to work through complex use cases and leverage a consultative, solutions-oriented approach to understand and address customers’ specific challenges
- Help drive demand through participation in both industry-known trade-shows as well account-based marketing events
- Act as a liaison, collecting feedback from relay back to the clients to the CTO and Technology Leaders
- Share and learn best practices with other Solution Architects to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team
- Stay up to date on retail and consumer industry trends, emerging technologies and provide credible thought leadership across the retail technology landscape
- Viewed as a strategic advisor to Internal and external stakeholders

Must-have Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 6 or more years of experience in a technical sales role or in a pre-sales support role recommending IT solutions to retailers
- Experience working collaboratively with product delivery teams, marketing, partners, and solution provider partners
- Proven experience in the RFP and quoting process with strong written skills, including technical writing and proofreading
- Adept at providing technical solutions based on customer needs
- Ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate the value proposition and command a room from C-suite down to practitioner
- Must be detail oriented and good at multi-tasking and prioritization
- Demonstrated communication, presentation skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English are required
- Spanish language is a plus
- Potential Travel: 20-30% – Remote and Onsite Client Engagements
- Must be a self-starter, problem solver and self-reliant
