About The Role:

Intelliguard has an excellent opportunity for a Head of Development to join our team in Columbus, OH reporting to the Executive Vice President/COO. As a Head of Development, you will be responsible for leading our technology, DevOps, Development, QA Testing, and innovation strategies in the dynamic field of MedTech. As a key member of the leadership team, the Head of Development will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions, managing cloud infrastructure, overseeing software design, ensuring the successful delivery of mission-critical applications and systems, and maintaining robust IT operations. This role is pivotal in shaping the technological foundation that supports our commitment to delivering high-quality, life-enhancing medical products.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Strategic Leadership
• • Define and execute the company’s technology strategy in alignment with business objectives and market trends.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the executive team, providing insights on emerging technologies and their potential impact on the business.

• Cloud Infrastructure
• • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of cloud-based systems to support business continuity.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in cloud technologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Software Design and Development
• • Oversee the architecture, design, and development of software solutions that power mission-critical medical applications and systems.
  • Ensure all software meets regulatory and compliance standards for the medical technology industry.
  • Promote modern development practices, including DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
• Mission-Critical Systems
• • Direct the development and maintenance of secure, reliable, and high-performance systems that underpin manufacturing processes and medical device functionality.
  • Implement strategies for risk mitigation, disaster recovery, and system redundancy to maintain operational resilience.
• IT Operations
• • Manage the company’s IT operations, ensuring seamless integration and performance of all technology systems.
  • Lead efforts to protect the organization from cyber threats, ensuring adherence to best practices in IT security and compliance.
