Warehouse Associate

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to oversee and optimize our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record work experience in warehousing or applicable alternate experience in customer service and a keen eye for efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities

Facilitate and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials.Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency and safety.Manage and train warehouse staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock audits.Operate and oversee the use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

Logistics, Warehousing, Industural Distribution, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).5+ years of experience in warehousing or customer service or a similar role.Knowledge in warehouse management systems (WMS) and or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) or inventory management software.Strong customer service  and organizational skills.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
