You’ll ensure all work aligns with Atwell’s quality standards, industry codes, and client expectations while guiding the design process from concept to completion. • Collaborate with engineers and fellow designers to develop construction drawings and plan sets using computer-aided design software (primarily CADWorx; experience with Plant3D and Inventor is a plus)
  • Support project execution by preparing detailed design documents such as P&IDs, piping layouts, piping sections, isometrics, and bills of materials
  • Work closely with design leads and engineers to optimize CAD workflows, recommend best practices, and troubleshoot design software-related issues
  • Execute quality control reviews (redlines) of construction documents, ensuring adherence to project and company CAD standards
  • Interpret and organize engineering data to create clear and accurate design drawings, reports, and technical documentation
  • Coordinate piping design activities with other disciplines to ensure alignment across all project components
  • Participate in internal design reviews as well as client-facing design presentations and discussions
  • Experience with piping drawing verification both in-office and in the field is considered a strong asset
