Summary:
The Summer Research Assistant will be examining how state-level memory laws influence history education, monument policy, and civic identity in the U.S., with a focus on Florida, Texas, and Virginia.
Responsibilities:
Legal and policy document collection.
Media and discourse analysis.
Preparing interview materials.
Organizing sources and assisting with coding.
Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work:
Part-Time.
5 hours per week.
The position duration is 6/2/2025- 8/22/2025.
Salary Range:
$20 per hour.
Required Education and Experience:
Current undergraduate student or above in a relevant field (e.g., law, sociology, education policy, or related disciplines).
Demonstrated research and organizational skills.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Background in law, sociology, education policy, or related fields.
