As a Product and Technical Service Manager, you will play a critical role as an individual contributor, supporting out-of-scope or warranty work for our customers. This position requires a seasoned Program Manager or Service Contract & Warranty Administration professional with extensive knowledge and technical expertise in Product and Technical Service. You will troubleshoot complex customer issues, provide essential training, and ensure effective communication across teams to uphold our commitment to service excellence.

What You Will Do:

  • Contract and Warranty Administration: Oversee and ensure proper fulfillment of contracts and warranties, conducting audits, clarifying contractual rights, and providing estimates.

  • Service Request Management: Manage airframer service requests, drafting agreements, negotiating terms, and tracking performance through Collins onsite teams.

  • Collaboration and Negotiation: Serve as the primary point of contact for airframer assertions, working collaboratively with value streams to reach agreements that align with company goals.

  • Customer Support: Troubleshoot customer issues efficiently and provide critical training, ensuring clients understand product functionalities and procedures.

  • Strategic Planning: Engage in strategic planning activities to enhance service delivery and efficiency within Product Technical Service.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data and present findings to management, ensuring complex issues are escalated appropriately and contributing to informed decision-making.

  • Mentorship: Advise and mentor less experienced team members on policies, procedures, and technical product information interpretation.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Prior Technical Service or Program Management experience is preferred.

  • Aerospace industry experience is preferred.

  • Prior Customer-Facing experience is preferred

  • Ability to travel as required (up to 25% anticipated).
