Attest Services Managing Director

As the Special Attest Managing Director, you’ll help our clients navigate a complex and challenging business environment by utilizing technology and innovation – all with the resources, environment and support to help you excel. You’ll collaborate with all audit teams, work with clients for solutions and execute on AICPA & PCAOB audits because together is how we succeed. From day one, you’ll be empowered by your local teams to execute audits by embracing our technology and help you achieve more, confidently.  

 Your day-to-day may include:  

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners and CEOs of current and potential clients  
• Effectively manage existing client relationships to enhance client satisfaction  
• Plan and execute business process control reviews, external audits, systems reviews, and other service offerings such as IPO’s or other SEC related filings  
• Provide technical expertise in the areas of regulations, market practices, trends, economic factors, risk identification, and process improvement recommendations  
• Lead and support business development activities, such as identification, proposal development and other pursuit activities at clients.  
• Lead multiple client service delivery teams in the active execution of engagements to help ensure compliance with firm and practice unit service delivery standards  
• Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform services  
• Working at a client site, with your team in the office or remotely. We empower teams to listen first to expectations of clients and teammates; then you and your team can determine when and where to work. No matter when or where, you will have the support you need to thrive.  
• Other duties as assigned  

 You have the following technical skills and qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced or Master’s degree preferred.  
• A minimum of 13-plus years of related work experience in a similar capacity or function servicing clients.  
• Relevant certification – a CPA – is required.  
• Prior business development and sales experience is required.  
• Prior experience in practice and team development is required.  
• Strong analytical skills and ability to perform quantitative analysis and develop business cases.  
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
• Ability to travel as needed.
