Function/Duties of Position
-Serve as an instructor in the preclinical laboratory, reviewing student work and providing critical assessment and aid in performing normal dental procedures
-Serve as a course director and give lectures
-Attend lectures of fellow faculty members for courses in which the person is assigned
-Teach in the predoctoral dental clinic and supervise students providing patient care
-Perform scholarly activities such as research (including laboratory and/or clinical studies)
-Participate on committees within the school and university as assigned
-Provide patient care
Required Qualifications
The position requires a Dental degree (DDS/DMD) or foreign equivalent, an Oregon Dental License or eligibility for same, and BLS/ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
