POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an associate to join our growing management team in the Global Atlantic Investments Office that will directly support our Investments Chief of Staff. This is a critical position for the GA Investments Office amidst growth and organizational change and provides a unique vantage point to bring value to our executive team and portfolio managers overseeing [$170+bn] of assets. This role will support and provide thought partnership to the Investments Chief of Staff in various aspects, including planning and execution of strategic initiatives, board relations and communications internally and intra-company across our business lines and with GA parent KKR.
The successful candidate is a self-starter and quick learner with excellent organizational, project management and relationship-building and strong interpersonal skills. Day-to-day, the management associate will shadow and directly support the Investments Chief of Staff, joining meetings with key stakeholders, and use organizational and strategic frameworks to activate on decisions and areas for exploration or coordination. The management associate will also work collaboratively with the Investments leadership team broadly including the Head of Investments Management to ensure everyone is aligned with the GA Investments Office strategic vision and objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Investments Chief of Staff on day-to-day responsibilities, including Board planning, communications and coordination; prepare materials and prep for regular cadence of business meetings
- Create content related to GA Investments’ key strategic priorities; Build financial models and perform analysis to evaluate business trends
- Partner with internal constituents to prepare presentations, talking points and analytics on market and business performance for our Management Committee
- Support deal review processes including committee memos, operational planning and business support mechanics
- Develop and manage internal communication within Investments; plan cadences and develop agendas for Townhalls, staff meetings, etc
- Partner with Investments leadership on business planning, expense budgeting and reporting
- Coordinate and manage office related issues such as onboarding, intern programs, etc
- Act as an advisor to the Investments Chief of Staff and leadership team related to staff and business activities
- Drive development and reporting of business metrics for senior management discussions
- Execute on ad hoc broad strategic initiatives
- Serve as a liaison with staff, senior leaders, firmwide departments regarding project updates, proposals and initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 2-4 years of work experience in financial services. Background in investment banking / asset management, capital markets, and / or financial services management consulting a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills to present business trends in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience communicating with senior leadership, clients and/or institutional investors.
- Strong judgment, professionalism and ability to work effectively in challenging, fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented, energetic self-starter with a positive attitude. Our firm is growing, and we need an ambitious and adaptable individual to support our Investments leadership team.
