Job Summary:

To perform a variety of line service activities for Company and customer owned aircraft and general Service Center facilities maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:

·       Works from shop orders, squawk sheets, oral and written instructions to perform the following primary line service duties:

o   Maintains watch and meets aircraft on taxi ramp. Tows, parks, and secures aircraft at various ramp and hangar locations. As required, inventory and store personal contents.

o   Washes, cleans, polishes and/or waxes exterior; cleans and services interior of aircraft.

o   Defuels and fuels aircraft. Completes fuel usage forms and records.

o   Positions and operates group power and other aircraft service units.

·       Picks up, transports, and delivers personnel, parts, tools, supplies and equipment for the Service Center.

·       Performs general cleaning of ramps and service facilities. As required, moves equipment, furniture, storage bins, etc.

·       Maintains assigned service equipment and transportation vehicles. Performs cleaning and routine maintenance checks.

·       Observes and complies with all safety rules and procedures.

·       Performs other related duties as required.

 

Qualifications

 

Education:

Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification. Requires ability to read shop orders, use basic mathematics and maintain required records and forms. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Experience:

Requires a minimum of three (3) months aircraft ground handling experience (aircraft towing, parking, securing, and taxi-ramp operations) or commercial driving experience.

Working Conditions:

Somewhat disagreeable due to exposure to noise and weather elements.
