The role will report to the PMO manager of the NAM FI DA organization. The mission of the PMO is to drive digitalization initiatives from DI-0 to DI-5 status by supporting process owners and Subject Matter Experts in their development of automation projects.


The Finance Digital Automation Project Manager will be expected to interact with various employee levels of the organization while implementing digitalization projects based on standardized project management structure.  Excellent communication skills, coupled with the ability to motivate others and drive project plans for on-time execution.  

Responsibilities:

The Finance Digital Automation Project Management Specialist will directly engage with Subject Matter Experts in the development of digitalization projects, including preparation of documentation for developer coding process, management and adherence to planned project timelines, testing criteria design, and release of the project.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • The candidate must have the capability to manage complex projects with experience and skills in project management, change management and process reviews.

  • Skills for working in a complex matrix environment are required. 

  • The candidate’s experience and background ideally are based on Business Process Engineering, audit, project management or other equivalent work experiences where organization changes have been implemented.

  • The ability to understand, develop, incorporate complex process tasks for automation and the ability to communicate these concepts to all stakeholders is critical. 

  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with various levels of company functional areas within the SHS matrix structure.

  • Ability to interact with global SHS and Siemens GBS teams to implement projects

  • Ability to effectively execute time management skills for handling complex project timelines

  • Ability to engage as an effective team member within the PMO group.

  • Ability to influence and motivate others without direct authority.

  • Ability to apply broad experience gained in various areas of the organization to positively drive project implementations.

  • Knowledge and experience in project management tasks, including PM@SHS

  • Familiarity with internal Siemens Healthineers systems and software tools (SAP, CRM, MS-Office and other software tools);

  • Familiarity with Value Stream Mapping or other methodologies

  • Travel 5%

  • Experience with MS-Word; MS-Excel; MS-Powerpoint; other analytical tools; SAP, CRM platform

  • 10+ years of Siemens or related work experience

  • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Certification may be required in some areas.

The base pay range for this position is:

$107,060 - $147,213
