Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Technical Program Manager of the MK 48 Intermediate Maintenance Activity program in Yorktown, Virginia. This position requires a broad range of administrative support and requires excellent organizational and task management skills, as well as interacting with section managers. The selected candidate thrives in a fast-paced work environment, significantly diverse assignments, and has keen attention to detail. This position is located in our Yorktown, VA facility.

Roles and responsibilities include (but not be limited to) the following:
Providing administrative support to the Technical Program Manager
Collecting and preparing information for use in discussions/meetings
Facilitating Northrop Grumman leadership visits
Report generation and compilation
Standardizing / managing job postings and assisting with hiring process
Leading onboarding / offboarding process
Oversee required qualifications and badges of team members
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 0-2 years of relevant experience
Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
Computer skills required include experience in Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel), SharePoint (or equivalent), and intranet/internet proficiency
Proactive, highly motivated and adaptable, with excellent organizational skills including balancing multiple tasks, evolving needs, and competing priorities across a dynamic and geographically dispersed team
Ability to efficiently coordinate Outlook calendar, conference call, and shared link applications
Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred
Current Secret security clearance
Knowledge of NGC resources, policies, and procedures
