The key responsibilities include Dishwashing and Food Production. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dishwashing - primarily utilizing a commercial dish washing machine; some dishwashing completed manually.

• Food preparation - prepares assigned food items for the Cook, Baker and Salad Production staff. Including, but not limited to following production lists, recipes, and washing, slicing and preparing raw fruit and vegetables.

• Works in a collaborative effort with the nurses and caretakers to deliver quality and timely meals for senior living residents; including placing meal items on plates for residents, delivering meals and beverages to tables, and fulfilling special meal requests for residents and resident caretakers/nurses as needed.

• Service clean up after meal service in dining room following established procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned, including those assigned by a Supervisor, Lead and/or Cook.

• Must have a minimum of 6 months quantity raw food preparation and production experience in a commercial, professional (back-of-the house) kitchen facility; 12 months of relevant commercial kitchen raw food preparation and production experience (preferred)

• 1+ year of both FOH and BOH (Front-of-House / kitchen and Back-of-House / Dining Room) food service production and service experience in a senior living community organization or healthcare facility (preferred)

• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.

• Ability to report to work on time and complete the assigned work shift.
