THE ROLE

The Associate, Broadcasting – Collegiate role will be responsible for all content ideation and creative concept development for the university’s sponsorship sales efforts. In this role, the Associate of Broadcasting will work closely with the Director of Broadcasting and the university’s athletic department on the design of in-game marketing and advertising assets, including all audio, video, and design work. 

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Create, manage, distribute, and refine all streaming/digital programming for FSU Athletics and the property.
• Assist in creation, management, distribution and refinement for all audio programming for FSU Athletics and the property. 
• Create short and long form content for FSU Athletics media platforms, with a focus on revenue generation.
• Book high-profile guests for programming as required.
• Manage guest and talent operations, including but not limited to travel logistics and booking, credential management, and payment distribution.
• Serve as the radio play by play announcer for Florida State University Women’s Basketball for any and all home, away, and post-season games.
• Serve as a backup for all radio, linear, and digital broadcast roles, as needed, including but not limited to play-by-play duties.
• Assist with managing media vendor relationships and cultivate new vendor partnerships.
• Advocate for corporate partner needs during all University/Athletics content production meetings, production days, and other media-centric efforts.
• Create copy for sponsored events, podcasts and social media content 
• Assist with filming, production and editing of sponsorship and athletics content for a wide range of digital and print projects including websites, app, branding, promotions, emails, social media, digital, signage, marketing collateral, internal presentations and other tasks assigned 
• Exhibit compelling and creative storytelling through all content and use of audio, linear, digital and social media platforms 
• Maintain a detailed content calendar to ensure promotion of sponsorship content, events, programs, and marketing efforts, and manage paid social campaigns.
• Assess content/channel performance analytics, report progress to goals and KPIs to leadership team and recommend solutions or new types of content based on previous performance 
• Be willing to help in other areas of the business including activation and service 
• Expected to attend games, as well as other live events that may take place on holidays or weekends including support during road games, as directed.
