Dental Hygienist

Overview

Position: Part Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with potential to transition to Full Time Status

Location: Lafayette, LA

Schedule: Two-three days per week, with Fridays as a half day

Practice History: Serving the Lafayette community since 1970

Responsibilities

• Screening patients during check-ups
• Reviewing patient's history
• Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
• Documents area of existing restorations
• Use of X-ray
• Instructing patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene
• Conduct screenings
• Assist patients with oral hygiene

Qualifications

• Active Louisiana Hygienist license required prior to start date
• Current BLS/CPR certifications
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
• Any amount of Dental Hygiene experience and newly graduating 2025 candidates are welcome to apply
