Job Description
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Maintenance Repair Worker 3, Space and Facilities Department, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine [R0150613]
ROLE of the POSITION
Under the general supervision of the Facilities Operations Manager, this position is primarily responsible for managing and tracking assets, keys and building access cards, alarms devices, vehicle fleet, warranties, renewals, installations and inspections of facilities and equipment. This incumbent will perform light maintenance tasks as assigned and coordinate work with landlord maintenance teams.
This position will be responsible for providing 24/7 facilities support to a flexible portfolio of 16 owned and leased UNLV School of Medicine, Research and Clinical (Faculty Practice Plan) facilities and over 1200 employees.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of experience performing semi-skilled work in a relevant building and/or mechanical trade; or one year of experience as a Maintenance Repair Worker II in Nevada State service; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

SALARY
Grade 27 Step 1, Salary $48,024.00
In accordance with Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) 284.170, initial appointments to classified positions typically begin at Step 1 of the assigned grade. A "Step" refers to the specific rate of pay within a grade, as determined by the Division of Human Resources.
