About the job you’re considering
We are seeking a Manual QA Tester to join our client’s Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of web and mobile applications through rigorous testing and validation. You will support daily web releases and biweekly mobile releases, working closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members in an Agile environment.
Onsite role in Seattle, WA.
Your role
- Support daily Web QA releases and biweekly Mobile releases
- Participate in QA planning, including test strategy and scope definition
- Create and maintain comprehensive test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria
- Validate stories and ensure features meet business requirements
- Perform manual feature testing and regression testing across web and mobile platforms
- Report testing progress, issues, and risks clearly and effectively
- Provide test execution status updates and sign-offs for releases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
Your skills and experience
- 5+ years of experience in manual QA testing for Web and Mobile applications
- Strong understanding of iOS and/or Android platforms (experience with both is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with HTTP Proxy tools like Charles Proxy or Fiddler
- Familiarity with ADB, Logcat, and analyzing StackTraces
- Proficient in using browser developer tools for web testing and debugging
- Experience with mobile development tools such as Android Studio and Xcode
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management
- Basic knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
