Mission System Software Architect / Developer

<p><span><b><b>Job Description:</b></b></span></p><p><b>Do you like to develop Software?</b></p><p><b>Do you have experience as Software Architect?</b></p><p><b>Would you like to be part of the SW team of one of the most successful Airbus products?</b></p><p></p><p>If your three answers are 'Yes', maybe we have a perfect position for you within Light&amp;Medium (L&amp;M) Mission System Software Department.</p><p></p><p>We have opened a position as <b>Software Architect and Developer</b> to be part of the team that have developed more than 20 versions of the "Fully Integrated Tactical System" (FITS) for more than 15 different customers around the world.</p><p></p><p>We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Architect and Developer with a strong background in C++ development in distributed systems. If you also have knowledge in cyber security topics this will be the perfect opportunity to develop yourself.</p><p>As a Software Architect and developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and architecting the software of the new generation of Mission System in the Airbus platforms.</p><p></p><p><u>RESPONSIBILITIES</u></p><p></p><p>- Master the needs over our Mission Systems and especially focused on the Software of the system.</p><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in order to:</p><ul><li><p>Translate the system requirements into software requirements (Identify, Analyze, Derive them, traceability,…) and ensure that security considerations are integrated into the Mission System software design.</p></li><li><p>Being able to evaluate the threats and vulnerabilities (i.e collaborating in Security Scope Analysis, Security Risk Analysis, pentesting technics, etc)</p></li><li><p>Define the Data Modelling and Data Classification applicable to our Mission Systems in every project.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>- Design and lead the Mission System software architecture solution to fulfil the Software Requirements:</p><ul><li><p>Defining the aspects of the architecture and design in system/software (i.e security, communication, HMI, etc)</p></li><li><p>Mastering the requirements allocation to the given system elements by mean of: principles, patterns, design and tools to apply them into our products.</p></li><li><p>Modelling in UML the SW Detail Design</p></li></ul><p></p><p>- Lead a secure Software Implementation over our Mission System incorporating industry best practices and security standards into the software design, including:</p><ul><li><p>SW Implementation and coding (in C++ and python) of SW Components under GNU/Linux OS.</p></li><li><p>Integration of third party software or/with other systems in a secure way.</p></li><li><p>Analysis of coding risk, secure coding practices and vulnerability mitigation.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>- Guarantee the correct Mission System software design and implementation, leading:</p><ul><li><p>Definition of Software Qualification Tests strategy</p></li><li><p>Validation of SW Requirements and Qualification Tests</p></li><li><p>Verification of SW (Execution of Tests: Component Test and Integration Test).</p></li><li><p>SW Components configuration (GIT)</p></li><li><p>SW Problem Resolution managament (Requirement Changes Proposal and/or SW bugs in JIRA)</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u>SKILLS</u></p><p>We are looking for candidates with the following <b>skills</b>:</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent discipline.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience as a Software Architect, with a focus on designing and architecting software systems.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in C++ development over linux OS, including strong coding and debugging skills.</p></li><li><p>Experience on Software Design with UML</p></li><li><p>Experience on Software Verification</p></li><li><p>Experience on Requirements Management.</p></li><li><p>Experience on Software Configuration, problem tracking,</p></li><li><p>Negotiation level of English and Spanish</p></li><li><p>Leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.</p></li><li><p>Communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Last but not least, be willing to: develop yourself, grow, learn and have proactive mindset</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Will be very highly appreciated knowledge in any/several of these competences:</p><ul><li><p>Experience in Network Architectures (CCNA certification)</p></li><li><p>Experience in Software Virtualization Architectures (focused on HA and/or FT solutions) and Designs (VMWare vSphere, Hyper-V, Dockers, etc)</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of security principles, best practices, and <span>normative/regulation/standards</span> such as: INFOSEC NATO Directives, RTCA_DO-326A / ED202A, RTCA_DO-356, ED203A, MIL-HDBK-1785, CCN-STIC-301, CCN-STIC-302, etc.</p></li><li><p>Experience on GIS and HMI technologies: Carmenta, Rogue Wave (former ILOG) Maps, OpenGL, Rogue Wave Views
