Salary/Position Classification
- $1,600 per credit hour, contract, Exempt
- Up to 13.35+ hours per week
- This position will work onsite.
Purpose of Position
The Aviation department in the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace is seeking a professional to fill the role of Instructor. This position will teach undergraduate courses in the Aviation Department for the upcoming Academic Year
Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach various undergraduate courses in the Aviation Department and to evaluate the students in those courses. Classes are held in person in Grand Forks, ND.
Required Competencies
- Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
- Utility to teach a variety of Aviation Courses.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation related field; OR Bachelor's degree and equivalent Aviation related experience.
- Experience as a CFII or Lead Flight Instructor at a Part 141 school.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check.
