We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

You will partner with senior leadership, data science, and matrixed teams to deliver measurable business impact and influence product roadmaps. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy that balances competing metrics, ensuring a customer-first approach that drives overall business success. You will lead optimization experiments aimed at improving customer experiences at checkout, while ensuring that PayPal products (balance, debit, credit products) are prominently featured and effectively utilized. Collaboration with global analytics and data science teams will be key to building models that drive personalization, and actionable insights. Additionally, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including product, engineering, as well as other business units—to develop and implement innovative solutions. Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, a passion for data-driven decision making, and the ability to influence senior leadership and stakeholders across the organization.
Your day-to-day
In this role you will:
Optimize Checkout Performance for Customer Lifetime Value (LTV): Architect optimization frameworks to align various business objectives, including conversion, AOV, transaction expense, and Credit Product First Time Users, with a focus on enhancing customer LTV. Develop and implement methodologies to balance and prioritize these metrics in a customer-centric approach that drives measurable results.
Strategic Collaboration with Senior Leadership: Build strong relationships with Senior Leadership across the organization, ensuring alignment on strategic priorities and outcomes. Provide thought leadership in high-impact discussions, balancing PayPal’s objectives with customer needs and market trends. Regularly present insights, progress, and recommendations leadership team
