Brown & Brown is seeking a Director, Strategic Transformation Initiatives, to join our growing team in Daytona Beach, FL! 

This high-impact role reports directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and will be instrumental in driving the transformation of our enterprise technology platforms to support sustainable growth, improve operational agility, and enable innovation across the organization. 

The Director, Strategic Transformation Initiatives will lead a portfolio of complex, enterprise-wide initiatives to modernize systems supporting our Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, and Employee Benefits businesses. Success in this role requires a blend of management consulting discipline, technology fluency, and deep insurance expertise to architect and implement a modernization roadmap that delivers measurable results. 

How You Will Contribute:  

• Own and lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic transformation initiatives with a focus on automation, operational efficiency, and scalability. 

• Modernize and optimize core systems, consolidating legacy platforms and simplifying the technology ecosystem to reduce complexity and enable growth. 

• Develop and execute a comprehensive technology transformation roadmap aligned with the Retail Division’s strategic and operational priorities. 

• Identify and prioritize high-impact automation and process improvement opportunities that drive speed, reduce cost, and enhance accuracy across business functions. 

• Enable real-time insights and intelligent decision-making through the integration of advanced analytics and data platforms. 

• Oversee change management and stakeholder engagement to ensure effective adoption and sustained impact of new technologies and processes. 

• Ensure transformation initiatives meet business, regulatory, and performance requirements, while championing operational excellence across enterprise systems. 

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CIO and executive leadership, driving alignment across functional teams and influencing key decisions. 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful: 
 

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred. 

• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, with a strong track record of delivering complex transformation programs. 

• 10+ years of experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives, ideally within or alongside top-tier management consulting firms or corporate strategy teams. 

• Deep understanding of the insurance value chain, with a focus on Property & Casualty, Personal Lines and Employee Benefits business models. 

• Demonstrated success in technology modernization, platform consolidation, and large-scale process automation.
