Job Responsibilities:
- Manager the settlement of all transfer requests associated with the trading team.
- Process all SWIFT messages between Global Shares and partner custodian and brokers relating to transfer requests.
- Detail and document workflow procedures to include MiFID II compliant changes as recommended by Global Shares Compliance team.
- Report and escalate any issues/mis-matches which arise as a matter of urgency.
- Support the trading teams on a daily basis as well as assist in identifying new system tools and enhancements to existing systems.
- Act as a point of contact, as part of a team, for all transfer related matters.
- Create and maintain excellent relations with key business partners while promoting Global Shares to both clients and partners.
Required knowledge skills and capabilities
- Excellent communication skills.
- Numeric literacy and good attention to detail
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Demonstrate commercial acumen with an ability to be innovative & pro-active.
- Ability to prioritise and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Highly motivated and organised with an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work
Preferred knowledge skills and capabilities
- Previous experience working in a regulated environment.
- Third level degree in Business/Finance or equivalent experience preferred
- A basic knowledge of Equity Industry
