Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Security Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead and manage complex security programs and initiatives across our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for security projects, driving cross-functional alignment, and ensuring the successful implementation of advanced security solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in security program management, vulnerability management, a strong technical foundation, and exceptional leadership and strategic planning skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for security programs, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Program Oversight: Lead and oversee multiple high-impact security programs and projects, ensuring alignment with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Provide expert guidance on complex security challenges, including advanced threat detection, incident response strategies, and security architecture design.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Drive collaboration across multiple departments (e.g., engineering, IT, compliance, legal) to integrate security solutions seamlessly into business processes and technology stacks.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks and vulnerabilities at an enterprise level, developing and implementing comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior executives and key stakeholders to provide strategic insights, updates on program status, and recommendations for enhancing security posture.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine security processes and frameworks to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and adaptability to evolving threats and technologies.
- Innovation: Lead initiatives to adopt and integrate cutting-edge security technologies and methodologies, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of security advancements.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in security program management, with a significant portion in a senior or leadership role, managing complex and high-stakes projects.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of security technologies and principles, including advanced threat detection, incident response, encryption, network security, and compliance frameworks.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans, drive large-scale security initiatives, and influence organizational direction at the senior executive level.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring technical teams and cross-functional project teams.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to senior executives and other stakeholders effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of addressing complex security issues and driving innovative solutions.
