ADMINISTRATIVE TECHNICIAN

BASIC PURPOSE:

Positions in this job family are assigned duties and responsibilities involving document production and management through a variety of manual or technological processes. This may include preparing correspondence, reports or other documents, maintaining various filing systems, including computer records of various activities, reviewing and processing applications for permits or licenses, assisting agency customers with inquiries or problems concerning an assigned program area, processing various types of claims, requisitions, purchase orders and invoices for payment, and similar duties.

• Full-time/this position is located at Pittsburg County Court House
• Annual Salary:  $31,500.00 Hourly $15.14 
• Primary Working Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Requirements at this level consist of four years of technical clerical office work or an equivalent combination of education and experience plus knowledge of supervisory principles and practices.

Special Requirements:

• Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver��s license

About us: Operated by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Carl Albert Community Mental Health Center (CACMHC) is a fully accredited 15-bed psychiatric hospital and outpatient clinic.  Other CACMHC offices located in Southeastern Oklahoma are—Holdenville Satellite, Heavener Satellite, Hugo Satellite, Idabel Satellite, Stigler Satellite, Atoka Satellite and Ada PACT.

Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing:  Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
