What you'll do at Jamf:

The Staff Software Engineer, AI Initiatives will work closely with our product and internal sales, finance and support teams to build generative AI driven experiences and solutions. You will incubate, prototype, and iterate in this space to quickly bring new ideas to production. This includes staying on top of the latest technology and techniques for Generative AI to continue to evolve our approaches.

This is a pivotal role at the intersection of technology and business strategy. As the Staff Software Engineer – AI initiatives, you will be responsible for building AI solutions that power Jamf’s products and internal teams.

This role if offered as remote in Minneapolis, MN; Eau Claire, WI; & Austin, TX. You may be required to work periodically at a Jamf office or collaborative work location with other Jamf employees in your area for certain events or moments that matter. We are only able to accept applications in either of these locations.

 

What you can expect to do in this role:

• Engineer solutions using few-shot learning and prompt-based techniques to rapidly adapt models to new tasks 
• Optimize generative models for performance, scalability, and efficient deployment
• Establish testing frameworks to validate model robustness, safety, and performance 
• Collaborate across teams to identify and assess use cases for generative AI in the enterprise
• Evaluate, fine-tune, and maintain models, which includes collecting and preparing data as needed in partnership with the enterprise data science team
• Improve quality through product integrated prompt engineering and optimizations

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience (Required)
• Experience with generative AI technologies such as LangChain, large language models, and vector databases. (Required)
• Experience with Python programming and data science libraries. (Required)
• Prior experience in AI relevant to Apple Management and/or Security areas (Strongly {Preferred)
• 2 year / Associates (Required).
• 4 year / Bachelors Degree (Preferred).
• A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.
