Treasury Support Specialist
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Treasury Management Operations Support Supervisorthe Treasury Support Specialist I will be responsible for supporting Treasury Management products and services, including but not limited to ACH, Positive Pay, Remote Deposit Capture, Lockbox, Sweeps, online banking for Treasury Clients, and merchant services. The position will ensure that Treasury Management products and services are documented and maintained according to Bank policy and procedures. Working under general supervision, this position will provide phone and email customer support to internal and external customers. The position must be able to deliver a high level of quality service and support.
Detailed Description (Including but not limited to):
• Act as a subject matter expert for all treasury products, services and systems and as a dedicated resource for training existing clients on products and services.
• Provides support on Treasury products for external clients.
• Provides support on Treasury products, services, and systems to Bank personnel as needed.
• Performs testing of ACH files updates
• Maintains documents, files, and agreements, including document imaging system, as required by Bank policy.
• Compiles and accurately reports all financial data as required by Management via various output reports.
• Continually updates job knowledge by studying new product offerings; participating in educational opportunities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and SLA deadlines
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.
• May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and Treasury guidelines.
• Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.
• Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.
• Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidential information are absolutely essential.
Education and Experience
• College degree in an applicable area or equivalent work experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of banking experience, with a working knowledge of treasury products and services preferred
• CTP certification preferred
• Jack Henry Silverlake and Remote Deposit experience preferred
• Account Analysis experience
• Q2 eBanking and Centrix experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
• Superior client service skills/attitude
• General working knowledge of all applicable banking laws and regulations
• Strong oral presentation skills in speaking with clients, both in person and over the phone
• Strong change management skills and ability to work at a consistently changing pace
• Strong organizational skills to include effective time management in all key responsibilities of job
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making sills
• Ability to handle multiple task and interruptions, in a fast-paced environment to ensure that deadlines are met
• Demonstrated ability to influence and establish positive working relationships across the organization required
• Must have solid proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, and PowerPoint. Proficiency researching the Internet. Knowledge of computer and peripherals, standard and customized software applications and tools, and usual office equipment.
