About the job

Twilio is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst, Corporate FP&A to join our Finance team. This will be a highly visible role and will partner with our GTM, R&D and G&A Finance teams in consolidating and summarizing our total company OPEX and headcount dynamics, in addition to partnering with Accounting and Investor Relations on our earnings process. This role will also require an element of strategic business partnering, acting as the Finance partner for specific areas of our Corporate budget. This role will report into the Director, Corporate FP&A and will interact heavily with the VP of Corporate Finance, CFO and other leadership roles within the business.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead our OPEX Annual Planning process and monthly forecast cycles from start to finish; this includes tactical planning with teams through reporting to senior leadership

  • Help lead and execute projects focused on helping scale our FP&A processes as Twilio grows

  • Own our in quarter pacing process for headcount and T&E expenses

  • Partner with the Accounting and Investor Relations to support reporting during our earnings cycle

  • Support reporting and analytics for our senior leadership team and our board of directors

  • Strategic project support associated with improving our forecasting methodology in challenging OPEX accounts, increasing visibility to core P&L drivers etc. 

  • Support ad hoc financial analysis, as needed

Qualifications

Required:

  • 4+ years in Finance, with some portion of that being exposure to FP&A 

  • Experience owning financial reporting and analysis including in-period pacing and earnings cycle reporting

  • Strong financial and analytical skills and the ability to explain financial concepts in simple terms to senior leadership

  • Process-oriented mindset with experience driving automation/ efficiencies 

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate FP&A activities across multiple stakeholders e.g. Accounting, FP&A partners etc.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in prose, presentations, and verbally to multiple levels within the organization.

  • Ability to influence and build effective working relationships with all levels of the organization

  • Experience with FP&A systems and tools e.g. Anaplan, Oracle, Tableau

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

Location 

This role will be remote, and based in the USA. Approximately 0-5% travel is anticipated.
