We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Pricing Analyst to join our Strategic Growth team. As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing pricing strategies that optimize profitability and competitiveness, taking on additional responsibilities in a more senior capacity. Your expertise in financial analysis, market research, and data interpretation will be essential in guiding our pricing decisions and driving business growth. What You’ll Do
- Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with the management team to design and implement pricing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Conduct in-depth market research, competitor analysis, and cost modeling to recommend optimal pricing structures for our engineering services.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze pricing data, financial reports, and key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of existing pricing strategies and identify opportunities for improvement. Present findings to management and provide actionable insights.
- Price Optimization: Utilize statistical and quantitative analysis to optimize pricing for various services, considering factors such as demand, customer segmentation, and market trends. Continuously monitor pricing performance and make necessary adjustments to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Proposal Management: Work closely with the proposal team to develop pricing proposals for prospective projects and clients. Ensure that pricing submissions adhere to company policies and industry standards.
- Cost Estimation: Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to estimate project costs accurately. Develop cost models that consider labor, materials, overheads, and other relevant expenses to support pricing decisions.
- Contract Negotiation Support: Assist in contract negotiations by providing valuable pricing insights and data-driven recommendations to achieve favorable terms while maintaining competitiveness.
- Advanced Analytics and Reporting: Create and maintain advanced pricing dashboards and reports to track pricing performance, pricing elasticity, and other relevant metrics. Use data visualization tools to present findings to stakeholders effectively.
- Compliance and Pricing Governance: Ensure compliance with pricing policies, Lifeline Sector variants, and industry regulations. Develop and implement advanced pricing governance processes to maintain consistency and transparency in pricing practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements related to pricing and propose innovative approaches to enhance the pricing function within the organization.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic planning process by providing senior-level insights into pricing strategies aligned with the company's long-term objectives.
What We Expect from You
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees and certifications (e.g., MBA, CFA) are a plus.
- Proven experience (8 years +) as a Pricing Analyst, Financial Analyst, or a related role, preferably in the professional services industry or engineering sector.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
- Knowledge of pricing methodologies, cost analysis, and pricing optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex pricing concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset to contribute to the overall growth and success of the firm.
- Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
