Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Locations: US - PST, MST time zones preferred

Reports to: Sr. Manager, Software Engineering

As a Senior Software Engineer at Conga, you will be working in a fast-paced environment which needs a mindset of a startup professional who is not hesitant to constantly shift gears, test and learn. You will be working with a team of accomplished software engineers, as well as with machine learning engineers, to develop solutions to enable our users to quickly analyze complex documents and collect key information from them.

Why it’s a big deal…  

This is one of the critical roles in the project, where you will be on a team designing and implementing software to integrate with Conga’s ML solutions. You’ll develop APIs and build solutions to allow customers to easily import and analyze their documents. We believe in using the best tools for the task at hand so the ability and desire to learn new programming languages and technologies is a must. All of this adds up to an exciting, challenging, and always interesting place to work, where complex problems are found and solved every day. This role determines the root cause for the most complex software issues and develops practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.

Are you the person we’re looking for?

Related Experience. You should have 5+ years in NodeJS and Restful web services with a demonstrated drive to learn and progress in the field of technology and the art of development. You should have experience in building back-end microservices from scratch and a good amount of hands-on into REST APIs, design patterns and data structures.

Scripting Languages. You should have hands-on experience in any of the scripting languages like JavaScript or TypeScript or NodeJS.

Deployment Tools. You should possess hands-on experience working with containers, Kubernetes and demonstrate success executing development work within an Agile environment. 

Source Control & Team collaboration tools. You should be proficient with source control and team collaboration tools like GitHub, Jira & Microsoft Teams.

AWS or Azure Cloud. You should be proficient in cloud architecture, cloud design patterns, and AWS or Azure cloud technologies.

Education. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
