Food Service Cook - Mornings

Job Description:

Cooks will work in a “team” atmosphere to prepare high quality meals for our residents, team members, and visitors.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Experience in preparing large volumes of high-quality meals
• Ability to read and follow in detail food production recipes.
• Ability to work independently while taking direction from the food service coordinators.
• Ability to practice safe food handling procedures at all times.
• Inspect special diet trays to assure that the correct diet is served to the resident.
• Experience in operating basic food service equipment.
• Ensure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis and 40 lbs. as needed.
• Occasional reaching, kneeling, standing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling required.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old.

Schedule:

• Full Time Mornings
• Weekend Shift Differential
• Must work every other weekend and every other Holiday.
