Description
The Children's Home is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician will maintain the safety, security, and appropriate operation of the facility. Supports all facility duties as directed by the Facilities Manager. Coordinates the maintenance and alteration of equipment, machinery, and building systems by performing the following duties personally, or through subcontractors.

Requirements
Two years of experience in building systems maintenance preferred. Health care experience a plus.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing with department and non-department staff, patients, and visitors.
Ability to perform math such as calculating discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Must be familiar with building codes and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, operating and maintenance manuals, etc.
Must have ability to operate basic power and non-power tools.
Ability to analyze problems and develop a resolution.
Must have valid drivers’ license.
