Then we would love to have you join us!</p><p></p><p><b><span>The Role</span></b><span> </span></p><p></p><p><span><span>As our new Senior Research Associate, y</span><span>ou will be part of the </span><span>In-house Protein Supply </span><span>team, and</span><span> specifically within the Protein Production &amp; Analytics team at Genmab, Utrecht. </span><span>This </span><span>team </span><span>is responsible for</span><span> the</span><span> production, </span><span>purification</span><span> and </span><span>biochemical characterization</span><span> of Genmab’s therapeutic antibody batches</span></span><span><span>.</span><span> </span></span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span><span>This is a temporary lab-based position for </span></span><b><span>one year (covering a leave of absence) </span></b><span><span>in which you would be able to learn new skills, and get some real-life experience within a</span><span>n international</span><span> biotech company!</span><span> </span></span><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></p><p></p><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>Responsibilities</span></b><span> </span><br/> </p><ul><li><span><span>Perform transient protein production, purification, and biochemical analysis of diverse antibody formats for early-stage research projects.</span></span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span><span>Collaborate closely with scientists and research associates across different </span><span>expertise</span><span> teams.</span></span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span><span>Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with precision to ensure consistent and high-quality results.</span></span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span><span>Document and analyze experimental data in Genmab’s electronic Lab Information Management System (LIMS).</span></span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span><span>Contribute to the continuous improvement projects within the team.</span></span><span> </span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p></p><p><b><span>Requirements</span></b><span> </span></p><p></p><ul><li><span><span>You have a completed HBO, BSc, or MSc degree or equivalent in biotechnology, biochemistry, life sciences or related field of study.</span><span> Candidates holding a PhD will not be considered.</span></span></li></ul><ul><li><span><span>You have knowledge of a</span><span>nd </span><span>experience with </span><span>either </span></span><b><span>transient production</span><span> of proteins</span></b><span><span> in mammalian cells or</span></span><b><span> protein purification </span></b><span><span>strategies. </span></span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span><span>You have knowledge of and/or experience with </span><span>some of the main </span></span><b><span>bioanalytical techniques</span></b><span><span> to characterize proteins, such as absorbance spectroscopy (Nanodrop), Bio Layer Interferometry (Octet), Capillary Electrophoresis (CE-SDS) and Analytical Chromatography (HPLC/UPLC). </span></span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span><span>Familiarity with </span><span>automated purification systems such as AKTA FPLC and Unicorn software</span><span> is </span><span>a</span><span> </span><span>plus</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span><span>You have an interest and affinity for practical work in the laboratory, with hands-on experience working with biomolecules</span><span>. </span></span><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span><span>You have good organizational and communication skills and </span><span>are able to</span><span> handle multiple projects under tight deadlines and deal with changing priorities.</span></span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span><span>You are motivated by delivering high quality output and are used to working according to a quality system. </span></span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span><span>You have an interest in software, </span><span>automation</span><span> and data handling. </span></span><span> </span></li></ul><ul><li><span><span>You have professional business level English language s
