Senior DevOps Engineer

abra R&D is seeking for a Senior DevOps Engineer.

We are looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, orchestrating deployments, and ensuring system reliability across cloud and on-prem environments.

A full time on site position, based in central Israel.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform/Ansible
• Manage container-based deployments with Docker and Kubernetes
• Support cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure) and on-prem systems (VMware, Nutanix)
• Automate and improve development workflows and release processes
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong scripting skills: Python, Bash, Groovy
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern release methodologies
• Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible
• Experience working in public cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Development background in Go, .NET, or Python – Must Have
• Experience in private cloud systems (VMware, Nutanix) – Major Advantage
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with OpenShift – Major Advantage
