About the role

We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about developing relationships with our team. The Senior Project Manager will work with the Director of Facilities Support Services and other IU Health leaders to build on the success of our environmental services team. The Senior Project Manager ensures projects are managed appropriately, utilizing standard project management methodologies, processes, tools, and resource planning. They will develop project plans based on hospital procedures and specifications that result in optimized performance, cost savings, efficiency and overall return on investments. 

The Senior Project Manager leads and directs high-priority, complex portfolios of projects for business initiatives . Communicates status updates and delivery expectations to teams and stakeholders. Manages projects according to the methodology, timeline, and budget of the organization. Owns quality assurance and oversight of resources assigned to project objectives. Ensures that projects are delivered within committed scope and budget. Work with business groups to build trust and credibility, understand their concerns, and help them understand any project challenges.

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent years of experience.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Healthcare Industry experience a plus.
• Experience working in a complex, matrix environment.
