About the role
We're seeking a Director of COO Programs to lead transformative projects aimed at enhancing effectiveness and value across our company and advancing our mission to be the world's destination of choice for anime. With a focus on driving operational excellence and organizational efficiency, you'll collaborate with our teams to understand operational challenges and develop tailored solutions. As a member of the Strategy & Planning Leadership team, you'll report to the Head and SVP of Strategy & Planning within our COO organization. You'll ensure clarity in team roles and responsibilities within the COO organization, guiding projects towards achieving company and department goals. Additionally, you'll oversee special projects to enhance operational efficiency from start to finish.
- Your understanding of our strategy, its translation into strategic priorities and goals, and your ability to use these insights to support the COO in directing departmental OKRs and priorities will be critical
- You will partner with domain leaders on multiple aspects of COO programs, including long-term department strategy, annual department budgeting, continuous improvement, capability building, enterprise technology, change management, executive presentations, and department OKRs
- You will also support the COO in facilitating the biannual OKRs process for the COO organization to capture and track progress on department OKRs, and assist COO teams in cascading these into team OKRs
- You will identify and monitor progress on continuous improvement opportunities for organizational efficiency across processes, enterprise systems, and more, defining operating KPIs and metrics for recurring tracking and reporting
- You will develop and implement reports and dashboards on COO programs and initiatives to foster understanding, accountability, and coordination across the organization will also be part of your responsibilities
- You will communicate progress in a recurring cadence and format and organize, and occasionally lead, projects with a broad set of contributors, ensuring agreement on goals, plans, and deliverables
- You will draft communications and oversee content development for executive updates on relevant topics for our President and COO's internal and external meetings, offsite events, and other speaking engagements
About You:
- 10+ years of relevant experience, with a background in management consulting or an MBA
- Your expertise lies in business operations, organizational improvement, process optimization, and program management, with a experience achieving measurable results
- You are familiar with media subscription models, direct-to-consumer (DTC) principles, and methodologies within media and entertainment environments
- You have a track record in executive and cross-functional communication skills, and in building relationships with senior leadership teams
- You possess proficiency in growth and business strategy formulation, data-driven decision-making, and business and organizational development

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
