YOUR ROLE

CEVA Logistics is growing, and we are looking for an Assistant Controller for our Campus in Roosendaal. You will be responsible for financial analyses and translating them into management reports effectively. Together with the Business Control & Support Manager, you will handle the planning & control cycle and assess various business scenarios. In this role, you will maintain financial oversight, critically examine processes, and proactively suggest improvements. You are the primary contact for financial questions and are involved daily in financial decisions for the site.

 

As an Assistant Controller, you are part of the regional Finance team (consisting of 10 colleagues) and report to the Business Control & Support Manager. The team is characterized as expert, but above all informal and driven. Together, you ensure optimal service to our customer, making a difference. Additionally, you are part of the local management team of the site in Roosendaal, representing finance and actively contributing to local policy and success. You will be in a rapidly growing region in a dynamic and fast-changing environment!

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As an Assistant Controller, you will:

• Prepare financial reports (budget, forecast, weekly, monthly, business reviews);
• Calculate various (financial) scenarios and their impact on operations;
• Develop and manage procedures and systems to measure, analyze, and report financial and operational results;
• Participate in projects focused on improvement.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Besides a very precise and analytical work approach, you are communicatively skilled and proactive! With your critical and forward-looking perspective, you promptly identify the consequences of certain actions and think about solutions. You can handle dynamics well and switch quickly with involved parties. Additionally, you bring:

• At least a completed Bachelor degree in Business Economics/Finance;
• You are ready for a second or third step in your career;
• Experience in a financial role, preferably in a logistics environment;
• Knowledge of automated information systems;
• Very proficient with MS Office.
