Summary:

The Director, Infrastructure Engineering will support, enhance, and stabilize our infrastructure, networking, telephony, and end user computing services across our portfolio of growth-oriented companies. In this role, the Director will be responsible for improving platform stability, modernizing older infrastructure and processes, reducing risk, and effectively supporting business capabilities throughout the organization. The Director will have a history of leading a fast paced high-growth organization and can rapidly adapt and increase efficiencies that will increase reliability. The Director will have strong team leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills, as well as the ability to drive execution to completion.

Essential Functions:

Serve as technology thought leader, responsible for proposing, planning, overseeing, and tracking infrastructure and end user compute projects that enable our business while providing leadership, vision and direction to the information technology function.
 Track and manage system availability.
 Develop and maintain IT policies and operational procedures.
 Establish controls and ensure compliance with all industry best practices in line with relevant regulatory requirements.
 Accountable for continuous operation and maintenance of IT systems and associated site infrastructure.
 Develop a balanced team between vendor-managed services and internalizing defined functions.
 Build strategic partnerships with key technology vendors and service providers to implement and support systems.
 Lead Device management eco systems to ensure all managed devices are compliant and efficient
 Continually research and implement new technologies to support critical business functions.
 Lead, coach and develop leaders of functional teams within scope of responsibility.

Requirements:

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

Experience

10+ years of work experience in a rapidly growing information technology function supporting multiple business functions.
Demonstrated experience developing, leading, and supporting an IT vision and direction including developing long-and short-term strategic IT plans, developing the associated financial analyses and translating budgeted plans into tactical, actionable operational initiatives. Understanding of IT infrastructure systems, principles, theories, and concept are required to develop and deliver innovative, novel, and advanced infrastructure solutions.
Strong understanding of balancing customer priorities, delivering cost effective solutions, and driving business process optimization
Ability to influence and drive cross-functionally at all levels and lead multiple high priority projects. Experience selecting and managing outside vendors and consultants. Proven track record of successfully attracting, developing, and leading world-class teams.

Technical Skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite. Microsoft Azure, M365, Device Engineering and Networking.
