Senior Software Engineer in Test

Job Description:

Focused on designing and executing automated tests for web applications, requiring strong programming skills to build and maintain testing frameworks, write automated test scripts, and collaborate with development teams to ensure the quality and functionality of web-based features across different browsers and devices; key responsibilities include identifying testing needs, creating test cases, analyzing test results, reporting bugs, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Automation Development:

  Design and implement automated testing frameworks for web applications using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. 

  Write and maintain automated test scripts to cover various web functionalities (UI interactions, form submissions, data validation, API calls). 

  Integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. 

• Test Case Design:

  Analyze user stories and requirements to develop comprehensive test cases for web features. 

  Create test scenarios to cover positive, negative, edge, and boundary conditions. 

  Prioritize test cases based on risk and impact. 

• Test Execution and Analysis:

  Execute automated test suites across different browsers and devices. 

  Monitor test execution and identify failures promptly. 

  Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and document detailed bug reports. 

• Collaboration with Development Teams:

  Work closely with developers to understand product features and design testable solutions. 

  Provide feedback on code quality and testability. 

  Participate in code reviews and sprint planning sessions.
