Job Description:

Multimedia Specialist Associate

GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program.  GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Delta Training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training from Squad through Echelon Above Brigade (EAB).  Technical integration between simulation and C4I systems. Establish /maintain training and exercise networks.  Accomplish Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

• Recording, editing, and producing videos, photos, and multimedia products for MTC Enterprise

• Assist with multimedia enhancement to after-action review (AAR) products and video presentations that summarize and demonstrate how units train at MTC facility

• Assist in creating fictional newscasts that are injected into exercises, using traditional news-gathering techniques, and shoot to a NewTek TriCaster video equipment in a small insert studio with green screen

• Design and develop multimedia applications, systems and products involving computer graphics and interactive computing

• Incorporates software applications in multiple technology media systems, such as graphics, animation, text, and sound

• Works with other branches at the JMSC-P to integrate into scenario/OE development to bring discoverable fidelity to backdrop OSINT products

• Works from concept drawings, sketches, models, and/or written and verbal instructions

• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned

• Perform other duties as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree OR the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, and training

• Required Experience: 0+ years of related experience

• Required Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge in recording, editing, and producing videos, photos, and multimedia content and live capture

  • Knowledge of video/photo capture, audio recording, graphic design, animation, and post-production editing

  • Ability to craft storylines based on exercise narratives

  • Ability to script a diverse range of technical and conceptual pieces

• Security Clearance Level: ability to obtain SECRET clearance within 6 months of hire

• Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Superb organizational skills

  • Ability to develop original approaches to achieve organizational objectives

  • Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the preparation of multimedia products

  • Knowledge of and ability to use relevant software applications and systems

• Location: On Customer Site/some travel to other customer sites in the Pacific
