What You Will Do:

Guidehouse has a very aggressive growth strategy for its Banking Insurance and Capital Markets practice and seeks to expand its leadership team by recruiting a strong business building executive who will be fundamental to this growth strategy.  This executive will focus on Wealth and Asset Management clients and will be a senior business builder with a high-profile personal franchise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, advance, and close on sales opportunities at new and existing clients
  • Manage peak and key accounts
  • Collaborate with Guidehouse’s own highly regarded business development team
  • Collaborate with other related Guidehouse practices to cross-sell relevant products and services
  • Manage multiple projects and meet ambitious deadlines and financial metrics
  • Establish market presence and expertise through consistent thought leadership, including white papers, webinars, and conferences

What You Will Need:

  • 10+ years of experience with senior executive experience at any/all the following: financial institutions, regulatory/government, client service/consulting or other relevant arenas
  • “C-Level” advisory experience, financial service industry, and wealth and asset management expertise to develop and implement complex, transformative client solutions to meet client objectives in commercial markets
  • Track record of successful new business generation, and demonstrable ability (or commercial potential) to sell, deliver and manage highly visible engagements demonstrated by year over year credited sales generation of  several million dollars annually
  • Ability to build credible client relationships resulting in profitable sales of consulting services and valuable, sustainable solutions for wealth and asset management clients
  • Ability to build and lead delivery teams to create a shared vision and lead programs that empower and develop high performance with multi-disciplined, global teams to achieve specific goals
  • Diverse asset and wealth management knowledge covering front to back office functional processes in asset management, trade management, portfolio & fund accounting, valuations, reference data, asset servicing, & client reporting
  • Deep understanding of wealth and asset management (10+ yrs.) trends and transformation initiatives, including digital transformation, operational transformation, cost management through process automation and optimization, business performance analysis, and managed services opportunities
  • Superior negotiation and influencing skills to relate to a range of senior level internal and external stakeholders
  • High level of business acumen and commercial awareness in addition to being a growth oriented, vertical thinker
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • A Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college preferably in business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics;
  • Able to travel up to 70% as needed

  • Graduate degree from accredited university, MBA is preferred
  • Drive, energy, and ability to thrive in a results-oriented, entrepreneurial, analytical environment

The annual salary range for this position is $155,900.00-$343,200.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
