Job Description

As a Security Professional - Logistics Desk Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing access control, and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional presence at the front desk. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your attentiveness and strong communication skills, embodying our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork as you support the daily operations of a dynamic logistics setting.

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel in a professional manner at the front desk, verifying identification and providing appropriate directions or assistance as needed.
• Monitor access to the location by managing visitor logs and issuing badges in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate security-related concerns and/or incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives as required.
• Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk when appropriate, following site-specific guidelines.
• Provide customer service by addressing questions, concerns, and/or requests from visitors and employees at the location.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
