Evident is searching for a junior level Product Owner to play a key role by working closely with our tech team and customers to deliver best possible functionalities for our product from early stages of its development to assuring market success and helping customers adopt new capabilities. This is a perfect opportunity for someone to start their career in a SaaS product role with a growing company!

Responsibilities

• Authenticate product capabilities meet or exceed stated acceptance criteria
• Support product demonstrations, knowledge transfer and education 
• Create customer facing product capability documentation 
• Train the customer support and customer success teams on new capabilities in product releases
• Work closely with business stakeholders to build and maintain the product functionality backlog
• Support sprint planning, retrospectives, release planning, and sprint reviews
• Work closely with engineering teams on backlog refinement and grooming

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in roles associated with SaaS product management (could be an internship)
• Knowledge of SaaS Business analysis and/or product management 
• Experience in Agile software development - Scrum/Kanban
• Familiarity with JIRA / ZenDesk or Confluence preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with technical and non-technical audience
• Working knowledge of office software suite
