Responsibilities:
Leading the local OpEx Teams within the assigned region:
Independent management of the local teams within the region Americas 2; Technical and functional employee management; Planning, reporting and cost control for the area of responsibility; talent management and succession planning
Business Alignment & Goal Setting:
Drive, develop and execute the Global Operational Excellence strategy within the region incl. definition of regional OpEx PDM
Productivity Improvement and implementation of standards:
Analysis and improvement of organizational and technical production processes and procedures with the aim of avoiding waste and increase productivity; Development and sustainable implementation of local or global standards; Establishment and execution of Audits (i.e. LPA, RPA)
Project Management within the scope of Operational Excellence:
Independent lead of cross-functional teams and execution of local and international improvement projects incl. responsibility for results and profitability studies (especially Cockpit and Kaizen projects with high implementation risk)
Knowledge exchange and transfer:
Collaboration & Exchange of Good Practices; Coordination and execution of trainings and workshops based on well-founded moderation techniques
Qualifications:
University degree in engineering (or comparable); preferably mechanical engineering, process management, engineering or technology; At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the field of Operational Excellence and in-depth knowledge of LEAN production (preferred: and quality systems); Several years of professional experience in project leadership and management within the scope of international projects; Deep knowledge and experience in LEAN management and methodology and continuous improvement; Experience in the independent lead and implementation of local and international projects and workshops (preferred: Project Management training according to PMI); Experience in Six Sigma and structured problem solving; Development, implementation and execution of corporate strategies; Strategic and analytical mindset, with a high degree of self initiative and hands-on mentality; Advanced level of using Microsoft Office (experience how to maintain BOM & Routing in SAP advantageous); Technical affinity and experience with digital processes and solutions.
