About the role
Job Description Summary
The Manufacturing Quality Leader is responsible for driving a quality strategy defined by our Built-in-Quality framework and zero-defect culture across the Greenville Gas Turbine operation. This leader will drive continuous improvement and problem solving in Greenville quality, with emphasis on creating added value, reducing waste, minimizing Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) and positively impacting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Severe Events and Non-Conformity Reporting (NCRs) associated with manufacturing operations.This leader will partner across organization to implement Stop Work, Read Across and other mechanisms to prevent quality issues.
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader and strategic thinker with strong knowledge of quality tools and processes, an analytical mind and strong ability to drive strategic change; influence across functions; and identify, explain and execute countermeasures for critical quality issues.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Foster a zero-defect culture with the objective of providing new units, spare parts and repairs that are trusted and preferred by customers
- Protect customers through systemic problem-solving, solving problems quickly with rigor and transparency and leveraging lessons learned
- Drive systematic root cause solutions
- Responsible all site Quality related KPI’s and continuous improvement activity
- Lead all manufacturing customer events onsite, witness point inspections, unit testing, tours and information requests
- Manage a team of quality engineers aligned to production areas across both new component manufacturing, assembly and repair
- Lead all aspects (development and execution) of the overall Quality strategy & roadmap
- Ownership for improvement of FPY and scrap reduction with collaboration from Engineering counterparts
- Problem solving via multiple tools / process (8D, 3X5 Why, etc.) and use of statistical tools identifying actions for improvement
- Ownership of improving site Quality System along with compliance to the quality system
- Drive quality centered apprentice programs for site
- Coordinate with NPI organization to support industrialization of new products / processes into the factory
- Ensures that Quality Management System (QMS) requirements are effectively established and maintained in compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Leads continuous improvement processes to boost operational reliability and operational excellence

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, quality improvement, and people leadership
- At least 5 years of experience in quality

The base pay range for this position is $142,200.00 - $189,600.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 15% annual variable incentive compensation. This posting is expected to close on November 10, 2025.
