Loan Servicing Specialist Utility - Commercial Loans

 United Security Bank has an opening available for a full-time 40 hours per week Loan Servicing Specialist "Utility" for our Commercial Loan Servicing Department.

The ideal candidate will perform all support activities related to the Loan Servicing Department. This position will assist in the support and backup of various Loan Specialist’s job duties. 

Requirements

 One to three years of banking or commercial loan experience is preferred.

Job Duties:

• Loan Boarding/Resolving Boarding Errors
• Payment Processing (e.g. Income & Outgoing Wires, mailed-in payments).
• Callback when needed.
• Insurance tracking and resolution of expired policies
• Automatic Payment Transfer (Add/Remove)
• Scan loans into Kofax/Quality Control
• GL Balancing & Certifications
• Line and Note Tickler Setup, Tracking, Follow-up and Removal
• Processes “morning reports” – Transaction Exceptions Report, Interest Collected Not Earned and resolve non-posted transactions daily (if applicable)
• Process UCC search, continuations and
• Tax Delinquency Processing
• Loan Documentation exposure
• Paid Loan Processing
• Performs any other tasks as assigned related to loan services.

Minimum Job Requirements

• One to three years of banking or commercial loan experience.
• Ability to accurately work with numbers and perform arithmetic calculations.
• Must be analytical, detail detail-oriented with great research and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with all members of staff in the department as well as with the outside branches.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• High School Diploma or GED
