ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Leverages the CMS daily reports to initiate contact and follow-up with Business Partners on the status of contract approvals and reviews in accordance with department policy. Serves as the Point of Contact for the Contracts Administration department for follow-up and status updates; reaches out to vendors to obtain status of contract review and contract signatures. Maintains log with status, details and any follow-up that is required. Ensure a timely and consistent contract flow from initiation through execution, and processes flow steps.
2. Supports the Contract Administration team members by processing new contract requests in the CMS. Maintains system administration for CMS, including creating/updating flows and fields, generating/updating templates, creating/updating new users, supporting system upgrades, and creating and distributing scheduled contract management reports.
3. Supports Vendor Management by verifying vendor due diligence completion for all contractual agreements and business arrangements in a timely manner. Responsible for creating and maintaining vendor records in the CMS, including assigning vendor numbers and entering all relevant vendor information.
4. Contributes to the preparation of new contracts, letter agreements and/or similar agreements that appropriately document business arrangements for vendors who do not submit company contracts or agreements. Obtains necessary approvals from applicable departments for proposed deviations in contract terms and conditions from standard policies and prepares appropriate documentation of any such approvals.
5. Assists in the maintenance of an accurate contract archive, including an online database, correct terms, and renewal dates.
6. Files correspondence, contracts and legal documents accurately within CMS. Drafts routine correspondence and other documents.
7. Completes special projects and assists the procurement-contracts team members, as assigned.
8. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
Minimum Four (4) years of experience in related field required.
Paralegal or comparable law firm experience preferred.
Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
Driving Responsibilities: Role requires regular commuting between locations. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits is required. Role will not operate or drive Tribe-owned vehicles or patron vehicles.
