Key Responsibilities:

• Litigation Support: Prepare and process various legal documents, including complaints, motions, orders, answers, pleadings, and subpoenas.
• Document Preparation: Draft and revise contracts, agreements, corporate resolutions, discovery responses, and other legal or compliance-related documents.
• File Management: Organize and maintain electronic and paper files for easy access.
• Communication: Handle communication with shareholders, board members, senior leaders, and external stakeholders.
• Policies: Develop and implement company policies and procedures to manage and mitigate legal risks.
• Administrative Duties: Schedule and calendar court dates, meetings, and deadlines.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Superb attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in using virtual data rooms and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Understanding of technical legal documents and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in a paralegal role, preferably in healthcare

Other Details:

• Some travel required; day trips to Richmond, VA as needed
• Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences
• Able to lift 30 lbs without assistance
• Employment contingent on successful completion of background, drug, and TB screen
