- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Mon-Fri) Onsite with Flexibility
At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position in the United States is $94,160 - $124,762. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.
Join Our Team as a Senior Financial Analyst!
The Senior Financial Analyst leads the preparation and analysis of financial reports, develops and monitors budgets, and provides strategic insights to support high-level decision-making. This role partners with finance value stream leaders and Corporate FP&A to coordinate finance cadence, provide financial & business insights and analysis and support standardization of how financial information is conveyed. Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst works cross collaboratively across the finance organization, mentors junior analysts and plays a key role in supporting the company's long-term operational and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare timely month-end and quarterly reports, analyze monthly financial statements, including variance analysis, and present findings to management.
- Assist management with identifying and evaluating business drivers, KPIs, and trends to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, variances, and key performance drivers, providing actionable insights to Value Stream leader.
- Develop and drive planning for 5 Value Streams to ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
- Partner with Corporate FP&A to ensure Value Streams financial calendar is coordinated with Corporate timelines.
- Support operational excellence for manufacturing financial processes, including cost accounting and analysis, inventory valuation, and manufacturing performance and risk reporting.
- Develop reporting on inventory, AR, past due, backlog, production output and other manufacturing influenced KPI metrics
- Assist in developing, coordinating and reporting productivity KPIs across the Value Stream.
- Maintain investment modeling for business strategies and plans, including capital expenditure and production operations initiatives.
- Coordinate with Value Stream finance leads to ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
- Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules
What you’ll Need To Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software.
- Comfortable in a Deadline driven environment Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Business Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experienced at project management.
- Skilled at creating effective visuals to convey financial information.
- Effective collaborator with cross-functional teams.
- Strong critical thinking skills to identify problems and develop solutions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree.
- Six Sigma Certification(s).
- Oracle ERP Proficiency with Oracle ERP, Oracle EPM Cloud, and oth
